I had an amazing stay there were some problems like cockraches in the room but the staff immediately helped us and gave us clean sheets. Staff here are amazing, they are amazing and quick to help. The environment is really good for people who are trying to enjoy the beach. With a beautiful scenery right next door to our rooms. Overall a nice stay with some problems like insects but the staff were quick to help.
We had an excellent outing last Sunday night! After watching the new movie “Neera” in Matara, we stopped by Thamayama Restaurant for dinner — and it was absolutely worth it. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. Staff were kind and attentive throughout our visit. A perfect way to end our evening — highly recommend Thamayama Restaurant for anyone looking for a great dining experience in Matara!
We discovered this place by accident, and were absolute stunned by the ambience of this hidden gem. Wonderful antique furniture all around, punkah attached to the ceiling for air, and squeaky clean restrooms. During happy hour 11 to 6 pm beer is 280 lkr/glass. Buffet is a good spread costing 1420 including tax. Absolutely worth it.
Beautiful place. We stopped here for breakfast and food was amazing. We had red rice with Fish Ambul Thiyal, Dhal curry and Pol Sambal. Service was excellent and we will comeback. Highly recommended.
